Amplitude Studios and SEGA announced today that Endless Space 2 will be releasing May 19.

The game will be available in both a Standard Edition, which will retail for $39.99, and a Digital Deluxe Edition, which will include a Digital Soundtrack, Pathfinder Academy heroes, and Hero ship skins. The game is currently available in Early Access on PC, with both versions being sold at a 25% discount up until release.

Those who buy the game the Digital Deluxe Edition in Early Access will also garner the Founder bonuses, which include a Cravers Prime fleet skin, special forum avatars and title, and G2G points. If you have already purchased the Standard Edition of Endless Space 2, but want to upgrade to the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can do so for an additional $10.99 starting tonight, which will bring its cost just above what Endless Space 2's price will be at launch.

The developers also unveiled a retail edition of the game, which comes with a double sided poster of the Academy and a print version of Last Flight of the Gray Owl, which recounts some of the events leading up to the game. You can check out an image of the physical copy of Endless Space 2 below.

Endless Space 2 is currently in Early Access on PC.
