Fans of Counter-Strike that can make it to Germany this summer - you might want to start booking your plane tickets now.

In a new post by the Electronic Sports League, the organization announced a new tournament for players of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in Cologne, Germany, ESL One: the event is already set to be the largest tournament for the game in the world, with a massive arena and large prizes at stake.

ESL detailed that the tournament will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 22nd-23rd in the (indoor) Lanxess Arena, able to seat over 15,000 spectators and offering $250,000 in prize money to the winners, with sixteen teams set to compete - the prize money will be tuned by ESL's organization itself, rather than coming from the eSports community.

ESL One Cologne will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 22nd-23rd, 2015 - tickets for the event will be available to purchase on February 23rd, 2015.
