Today, developer Amplify Creations released a new trailer for its third-person RPG: Decay of Logos.

For those that don’t know: Decay of Logos is an immersive action/adventure third-person RPG influenced by European Folklore and J.R.R Tolkien’s high fantasy. In it you play a nameless girl on a journey with her companion, a mystical Elk, who you met after your village is destroyed by one of realms king’s sons. Battered and oblivious to the culprit, you set out to find out who burned the village and get revenge. During your quest you will unveil secrets about the king and his sons, and slowly realize that all is not as it seems.

The gameplay is said to be heavily inspired by Dark Souls and The Legend of Zelda, with a focus on exploration, combat, and resource management. As for the game’s presentation, the developer cites visual inspiration from movies like Princess Mononoke and games such as Shadow of the Colossus.

Decay of Logos, which is in development for PC and “consoles,” is without a release date/window. For more information on the title, be sure to check out the game’s official website. Below, you can check out the new trailer.

Additionally, the game will be playable  at the Indie MEGABOOTH during PAX East 2017, which runs from March 10th through the 12th.
