EVE: Valkyrie, the virtual reality space combat shooter based in the EVE universe and developed by CCP Games, has been updated with its fifth free piece of content. Groundrush is set on Solitude, a ground-based map, detailed with “tight passageways, mountainous terrain and cavernous underground spaces.” According to CCP Games, this map will require the pilot’s whole attention in order to make it out alive. Even veterans are offered no guarantee for survival.

In addition to the exciting new map, the update promises to to introduce even stranger reveals to come out of EVE: Valkyrie’s popular weekly Wormhole event, which consisted of the content from game's fourth major update.

CCP Games has also added co-op to the Carrier Assault mode and the Control mode, as well as official support for the Steam Controller for those folks playing the game on Steam.

These are of course merely the highlights for the Groundrush Update. For the full list of changes - which include English subtitles, new pilot animations, and bug fixes - check out the EVE: Valkyrie official website.
