It's safe to say that in the hands of Brian McQuaid, the developer of previous MMO titles like EverQuest and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, his new MMO project that is launching through a Kickstarter campaign is going to be quite safe and (hopefully) very successful.

After launching its Kickstarter campaign, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen promises a "group-focused MMORPG based on challenging gameplay and open-world high fantasy." In addition to the descriptions of the project available on the Kickstarter page, the team behind the game also included a trailer and several screenshots in its early development phase.

The Kickstarter campaign currently sets an initial goal of $800,000 as the project's completion fund, with stretch goals also established afterward to include other features like additional classes, and more, with the project offering various in-game items and content (along with naming items) as rewards for the various donation tiers.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is currently to be in development for PC and Mac, and you can check out the full Kickstarter page for the project here, along with the game's trailer below:
