With just one more day to go, the end of the world is nearly upon us: don't worry though, that's just in the case of the upcoming PS4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, not in real life or anything, though in the game's case the end of the world should take a fairly decent length of time to happen.

After answering fan questions, developer The Chinese Room confirmed through Twitter that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture will be expected to have a running time of about 4-6 hours, though the length of the game will also be heavily determined by the amount of time that players spend inside the game's world of Shropshire exploring.

In addition to the length, The Chinese Room also confirmed that as of now, a physical release of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture will depend heavily on the game's digital sales: it wouldn't be impossible to see a retail release, though we'll have to wait and see how well it does digitally, for now.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture will release for PS4 on August 11th, 2015.
