Today, Bethesda Softworks has released a new trailer for its upcoming third-person horror game The Evil Within 2. The video lasts almost two minutes and gives us some more information about the story of the game in addition to showing off some new gameplay footage.

The first few moments of this new trailer take place in first-person from the perspective of Lily, the daughter of The Evil Within 2's protagonist Sebastian. After this, we begin seeing some quick glimpses of gameplay ranging from Sebastian hiding from enemies to him utilizing weapons like a grenade launcher to set foes ablaze. While the trailer shows quite a bit of action, it all takes place very quickly so keep your eyes peeled.

The Evil Within 2 was first revealed to the world last month at Bethesda's E3 2017 showcase through a lengthy trailer that gave us some insight into the game's story. While the initial reveal trailer was quite long, many fans were left wanting to see more gameplay footage which wasn't as prominent in the former trailer. Today's new trailer helps satiate this and will hopefully please fans who were asking for more.
