Released earlier this year, Turtle Rock Studios’ Evolve offered players an intense 4v1 experience between Hunters and Monsters, and now those that have yet to jump into the multiplayer-centric experience can do so free of charge during Labor Day Weekend.

Turtle Rock and publisher 2K Games announced that a free-to-play weekend of Evolve will be available to Xbox One and PC owners over Labor Day Weekend this week. Specifically, those on Xbox One can start playing the game for free at 12:01am PDT on Friday, September 4th and will run through Sunday, September 6th at 11:59pm PDT.

For PC players the stretch will be slightly longer, as PC players can dive into Evolve for free starting on Thursday, September 3rd at 12pm PDT and play through 10am PDT on Monday, September 7th. Unfortunately, PS4 owners are out of luck with the free weekend only running on Xbox One and PC.

During the weekend, players will able to try out four of Evolve‘s Monsters along with its roster of 18 Hunters, combined with five different game modes and 19 maps. Content from the game’s DLC and passes will regularly be rotated in and out over the course of the free-to-play weekend.

In addition, those that dive in to the game’s free period over Labor Day weekend will also have their progress carry over if they decide to purchase the game on their preferred platform.

Evolve is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC – you can check out a fun video breaking down the game’s free-to-play session over Labor Day Weekend below:
