Xbox One owners have been clamoring both for more console exclusives and more in-depth RPGs. In a recent livestream, the CEO of Experience Inc. confirmed that two new titles were in development for Xbox One that would receive worldwide release via the Xbox Store.
The first title is a remaster of the 2014 title Stranger of Sword City. The game hit Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita only in Japan and was never released in any other markets. The updated version for Xbox One will feature a graphics overhaul and full English translations. Characters have been re-designed and players will be able to switch between whichever art style they prefer.
Not as much is known about the second title, tentatively called Students of Round 2. It is said to be an RPG in the vein of Fire Emblem, and is set for a release between late 2016 and early 2017.
