EyePet Delayed Until 2010

on October 5, 2009 12:01 PM

Well, there goes my fun. I was looking forward to getting the EyePet and Michael Vick’ing it for a little bit and then having my baby nephew play with the thing. Unfortunately, there will be no punching the cup-sized critters until Spring 2010.

According to GameStop, both the EyePet software and the EyeToy bundle won’t be hitting store shelves until April 6, 2010. Before this release date was updated, GameStop had listed the anticipated software for a November release, which, obviously, has undergone changes. Every other country except for the US should be cool with regards to the release schedule; EyePet should be shipping to Europe sometime in late October. So, North American inhabitants, you’re more than welcomed to shed a tear of sadness if you were waiting for this “game.”

We will keep this story updated once we hear word from Sony regarding this delay. Oh well, I guess I’ll buy a hamster for the time being, those stinky bastards.
