The popular JRPG developer Nihon Falcom released positive financial results for fiscal year 2015, revealing some interesting information on its future plans.
First of all, the company intends to launch a new game of the Ys series in 2016, even if there are no specifics about its platforms. Secondly, since the developer predicts that the PS4 will increase its popularity further in the future, there are plans to release new games on Sony’s latest home console.
Lastly, the document mentions that there’s increasing awareness of Falcom’s titles both in Japan and overseas, so there are plans in place to expand on the front of English and Asian versions of its games.
Basically, it’s good news across the board, and to put the cherry on top of the cake, we also learn that Tokyo Xanadu for PS Vita is deemed to be performing well, despite the fact that it’s a new IP.
