Many fans of Fallout enjoy its dialogue systems, the ability to side with factions, or just surviving out in the wasteland and making choices on a whim. Do you ever wish you could experience Fallout alongside another player, though? Well, it's not a multiplayer video game, but Fantasy Flight Games has revealed that a 1-4 player Fallout board game experience will be coming later this year.

Fallout: The Board Game takes much of what fans love about the Fallout franchise and condenses it into one portable package. The game has been inspired by the events from Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 (along with all content expansions that came to those titles) to craft an experience that feels rooted in the Fallout universe.

Encouraged to explore and learn more about the wasteland, players will begin to discover new locations that will in turn unlock a plethora of choices: are you in it for the caps? your fellow players? or do you just want a bigger gun? As it progresses, the game will encourage you to take sides amongst its factions and with other players, ultimately deciding a winner based on who has garnered the most influence in the wasteland.

Players will have the opportunity to select playable characters in Fallout: The Board Game including a Super Mutant, Ghoul, Brotherhood of Steel Outcast, or just your regular wastelander. The game will also feature its own S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system as inspired from its source material, as well as various items, armor, weapons, and even companions to earn throughout your journey.

Fallout: The Board Game is currently expected to release in Q4 of 2017. For more information on the game, you can visit Fantasy Flight Games' website. Below is a gallery containing some of the images to have been released for the game so far.
