Family Guy has already been well known for packing in celebrity cameos on the TV show, but in the mobile game, prepare to get a Peter Griffin-sized helping of famous faces coming to the game just in time for San Diego Comic Con.

A new update for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff will be adding new playable celebrity characters arriving for the "Quahog Comic Con" in-game event, with just a selection including Bryan Cranston, Patrick Stewart, Felicia Day, George Takei, Nathan Fillion, Stan Lee, and Ron Perlman invading the town of Quahog. The summary of the update for the game details:

"After a hilarious series of events, Stewie is transformed into an evil octopus monster and Quahog needs a new set of heroes to help fight back! Patrick Stewart, Bryan Cranston, and Stan Lee, and more popular icons arrive just in time to train Peter, Lois, Chris, and Quagmire to become real superheroes. Players will need to use these newfound superpowers to save the day and restore order to the town."

The "Quahog Comic Con" update for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is available now on iOS for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, and the Android version of the update will be available on July 31st, 2014 - in the meantime, you can check out artwork of all the celebrity cameo appearances in the game below:
