Fan-Made Super Smash Bros. Trailer Puts Mario into the Day-to-Day Life of Tokyo

Nintendo and its band of characters have always inspired some pretty hilarious (and clever) fan videos and creations, and a new one created to herald the arrival of the new Super Smash Bros. titles might just be one of the best yet.

A new trailer/fan video, created by visual effects artists Dean Wright (who also created a teaser for the Mighty No. 9 animated series), was published featuring a fun expose of what daily life in Tokyo would be like for Mario: heck, even he has to take the subway in the morning if he wants to get to the latest Smash Bros. tournament.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS releases on October 3rd, 2014, followed by the release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in Holiday 2014 – in the meantime, you can check out the new fan video (with some pretty impressive effects) below:
