Once more I can say that Truant Pixel has done it again. After his Cherry Blossom theme and Dynamic Clock theme, the prolific developer came up with two more themes that make full use of the tools provided by Sony, more than Sony itself.

Today we see the release on the North American PlayStation Store of the Cozy Cottage Holiday Dynamic Theme and of the Christmas Cottage Holiday Dynamic Theme.

Both themes put a little cottage on your desktop with a relaxing Holiday-themed music. While the scene starts pretty normal, snow starts to accumulate over December, a snowman and decorations appear, and on Christmas the theme reveals that the scene was inside a snow globe. Finally, confetti and fireworks happen on New Year.

Everything is topped by real time 3D effect, lighting and particles. While the Christmas Cottage theme is obviously dedicated to the Christian Holiday, the Cozy Cottage is more generic.

The clincher? Each theme costs only $0.99, putting once more almost the whole store to shame.
