Far Cry 4 runs quite smoothly on PS4 and Xbox One, but at times Ubisoft's PC releases tend to chug a little out of the box. This time it seems that Far Cry 4 runs quite well on a video card like the Nvidia GTX 770, which can nowadays be considered pretty much a mid-range card.
The test below, ran by YouTube user Onehandband1t shows frame-rates generally between 70 and 40 on the following rig:
i5 2500K @ 4.6Ghz
Asus DirectCU II OC GTX 770
Asus maximus IV Extreme P67
Asus ROG Xonar Phoebus 7.1 Soundcard
Windows 8.1 64bit
Gskill RipjawX DDR3 1600mhz Ram
Corsair H70 CPU Cooler
There are a couple moments in which the frame rate touches the high thirties where the view is unobstructed and the draw distance is quite long, or when the dynamic reflections on a lake are shown, but it's still quite good performance, and there aren't stutters or sudden fluctuations.
