After announcing Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition all the way back in January alongside Farming Simulator 18, developer Giants Software and publisher Focus Home Interactive have been quite quiet on the port. That changed today though, as the game got its first gameplay trailer, and a November release window.

In the video, Martin Rabl, a developer at Giants Software, gives viewers a rundown of Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition's features. Like many previous versions of the game, this entry of Farming Simulator has a wide variety of objectives for players to complete within their large sandbox farm. Players are free to do many different things, such as taking care of livestock, planting and harvesting crops in the fields, and forestry.

Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition is also set to feature more than 250 different kinds of farming vehicles and equipment from around 75 manufacturers. Well known brands such as Challenger, Fendt, Valtra, and Massey Ferguson will all be present within the game. These brands are also available in Farming Simulator 17: Platinum Edition, which will be releasing the same month as the Nintendo Switch version.

Of course, being on the Nintendo Switch also gives this version of the game some unique features. It can be played both at home and on the go with many different types of controllers, so Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition should appeal to both casual and hardcore Farming Simulator fans have different lifestyles. The video also shows off touchscreen support in menus when the game is played in handheld mode.
