FAT Princess Adventures is back in the news reel again thanks to an update from developers Fun Bits Interactive. On a blog post at PlayStation Blog, the developers announced that Update 1.02 would be rolling out tomorrow, including free DLC. While there is no official patch notes available for what the update will bring, the DLC will introduce Short Cakes' Tavern and Arena Mode.

Short Cakes' Tavern (seen above) is a small social space to meet up with fellow players before jumping into Arena Mode. Meanwhile, Arena Mode (which unlocks after beating Zug in the campaign) comes in two varieties: Castle Arena and Temple Arena. Castle Arena (seen below) pits you against swaths of enemies, where Temple Arena lets you go head-to-head against friends.

Last but not least, purchasable DLC -- Super Awesome Hero Loot pack -- is also available tomorrow. The pack allows players to customize their appearance through tattoos, scars, and makeup and nab new weapons and armor. This comes hand-in-hand with purchasable Gold Boosts which give you a better percentage of gold for all loot drops.

Fat Princess Adventures is immediate available on PlayStation 4 -- the update will be free and available tomorrow.
