Fight Superman On The Go, With Injustice: Gods Among Us iOS Launch Trailer

on April 5, 2013 5:31 PM

Ed Boon recently made it clear that the iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us was being developed separately from the console version; still by NetherRealm Studios, but described as having a “unique game mechanic designed for iOS” specifically. Now we have more details–and a trailer (which you can see below)–to show just how different it really is.

Injustice: Gods Among Us, the mobile game, is based on a collectible card mechanic, and comprised of 3-on-3 tag team battles, which in turn unlocks content in the console versions. Once the console version releases, console play can also unlock content in the mobile version, as long as a Warner Bros. ID (WBID) is created and registered.

Injustice: Gods Among Us for iOS is free-to-play, available now from the App Store, and made specifically for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The console version is set to release on April 16th, to the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
