There are quite a few people waiting anxiously for any news about Final Fantasy Versus XIII, so we have some, although it is, once again, minuscule and, frankly, doesn't tell us much. According to series producers Motomu Toriyama and Yoshinori Kitase, the game is now at 100% full production, unlike it was a few months ago.

Many fans were rightly a bit concerned (to put it nicely) when they see Final Fantasy XIII-2 getting a super quick development cycle, and yet Versus XIII is taking so long. The team reiterated once again that they were familiar with Final Fantasy XIII and had assets from that game and the team already assembled, so the length of development was seriously cut down. That isn't the case with Versus XIII - it's a game that was started from scratch.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII won't be at this year's Tokyo Game Show, which takes place later this week, but hopefully we'll see some more news on the game soon. I'm starting to get stir crazy.
