Breaking (Literally) News: Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger Will NOT Be Released On The US PSN This Week.

on September 19, 2011 7:13 PM

Sony just announced through their official PlayStation twitter account that the announcement made yesterday about the release of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI this week on the North American PSN was incorrect, and the two PSOne classics aren’t coming, at least not this week. Kefka wouldn’t be able to devise a more cruel joke.

No explanation was given and no information was provided on the possibility of a future release of the two titles, so we don’t know if the launch is just delayed or completely canceled.

We contacted Sony to ask for a clarification on the matter, and we’ll update you if and when a reply will come.
