Final Fantasy VI Finally Makes an Appearance on Android

It’s really about time. Square Enix just re-released the SNES classic Final Fantasy VI on Android devices. iOS users may have to wait a little longer though.

In case you forgot, Final Fantasy VI tells the story of the magically powerful Terra going from slave to rebel against the evil Gestahlian Empire. Final Fantasy IV is hands down one of the best JRPGs you’ll ever play and still holds up fairly well since 1994.

The Android port will have updated graphics, new magicites and cutscnenes. Also expect some newly integrated touch controls for characters like Sabin. The higher than normal price $15.99 may turn off some people from purchasing the beloved hit rpg.

Final Fantasy 6 is out now on Google Play for $15.99. No news on a release date for your iPads and iPhones.
