Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Trailer Viewed Over 11,000,000 Times in Two Weeks

The announcement of the Final Fantasy VII remake by Square Enix took the internet by storm exactly two weeks ago, during a PlayStation press conference that will surely go down in history as one of the best.

The interest is definitely strong in the new version of the game, which will be released “first on PS4,” despite the fact that the trailer doesn’t really show all that much.

In fact, the trailer has been watched over 11 million times in two weeks. More precisely it has been viewed 10,047,691 times, with 90,763 likes on the PlayStation channel only. If we count the other official channel in which the trailer appeared, we add 389,575 views on Square Enix’s North American channel, and 705,875 on the Japanese one. The total sums up to 11,143,141 views.

It’ll be interesting to see when Square Enix will reveal a release window for this game, even if I personally don’t expect it to come before 2017 (2016 will be the year of Final Fantasy XV, and I doubt Square Enix wants them to overlap). One thing is for sure: it’s coming, at long last.
