Final Fantasy XIII-2 is….THAT Close to Being Done

on June 13, 2011 5:30 PM

How close is that? 70% complete, to be approximate. The latest issue of Japanese magazine Jump had a feature on Final Fantasy XIII-2, revealing many of the details we’ve already gathered from E3 last week. In it, SquareEnix also mentioned that the sequel to the most hated Final Fantasy ever is 70% complete.

In other news, you remember that whole Paradigm Shift mechanic? It was known as something different in Japan, but now the Japanese version of FFXIII-2 will carry the same name for that game mechanic as the Western version. That was one of the coolest things about the battle system in the first game, let’s hope they keep what was good and enhance it even more for the sequel.
