Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Gets A Revised Beta Roadmap

on May 26, 2013 1:53 PM

With the newly announced release date of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the old  beta roadmap published months ago became quite obsolete, so Square Enix released a new one, not only showing the new day in which the game will hit the shelves, but also adding changes to the features that will be available in each future phase of the beta.

We learn that the Free Company points (Free Companies will be FFXIV‘s equivalent of guilds) will be moved from phase 3 to phase 4, while the duty finder (the game’s version of a cross-server dungeon finder) and the level sync features have been bumped up to phase 3.

Phase 3 is scheduled to begin quite soon, at the beginning of June, and while it will still be a closed beta, everyone that previously held a Final Fantasy XIV account will be invited to test and enjoy a much bigger game than what we had in beta 2 (you can read my hands-on preview here). If you want to know what you can expect you can download the full pdf.
