Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Store Advertisement Trailer is a Fantastic 13 Minute Romp Through Eorzea

Square Enix just released a treat for all those waiting impatiently for the beginning of the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn open beta on the 17th (the 16th for those that participated in the closed beta): the trailer used on the screens of Japanese stores to advertise the game.

And that’s indeed a great video, clocking 13 minutes of lovely footage ranging from cutscenes to character creation, combat, the basic systems of the game and much more. It’s basically the perfect way to introduce the game to someone that doesn’t know about it.

If this doesn’t persuade you to try the game, nothing will (besides my hands-on preview of the closed beta┬áto replace the speech in Japanese maybe?). You can check it out for yourself just below.
