Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to Get Official Fan Festivals in London, Las Vegas and Tokyo

For several years Final Fantasy XI players had their Vanafest event to look forward to, and today Square Enix announced during a stage event at Nico Nico Chokaigi 3 that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will also get the same treatment starting this year.

The first Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival is scheduled to be held this October in Las Vegas and London, and in November in Tokyo.

Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, that made the announcement, didn’t give many details, but mentioned that we should be prepared for big news to be delivered during the festival. That probably hints to the game’s first expansion, that is rumored to involve the city of Ishgard, and for which there still isn’t a release date.
