Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players are going to enjoy the new content update “Through the Maelstorm” later this month, and today Square Enix released a spectacular trailer highlighting its new feature.

There’s really something for everyone, from the fight against Leviathan and new challenging dungeons (including the new four tiers of the super-hard Second Coil of Bahaut) to gardening for those that prefer something more relaxing.

Interestingly enough, at the end of the trailer we also read “Over 1.8 million adventurers worldwide,” even if we don’t know if that means total accounts created since launch or active ones. We’ve reached out to Square Enix for a clarification.

Update: Square Enix got back to us, clarifying that the 1.8 million figure represents registered accounts and not currently active users.

In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailer below.
