The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn servers are still down for the 24 hour-long maintenance accompanying patch 3.1 “Where Goes Light, There Goes Darkness,” but if you want to get ready to start playing as soon as your world goes up at 1:00 AM PST, it’s time to start downloading.

The patch has now been made available directly via the launcher, and weighs 1721.45 megabytes on PC, and a more modest 1436.32 megabytes on PS4.

Update 3.1 brings many changes, including The Lost Ark raid dungeon, new instanced dungeons, The Diadem’s exploratory missions, the Lord of Verminion pet-driven minigame and much, much more.

You can find the full patch notes here.
