Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward Benchmark Available Monday; Supports DirectX 11 and it Looks Fantastic

During the Letter from the Producer Live broadcasted from the Nico Nico Chokaigi event in Japan, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida announced that the benchmark of the Heavensward expansion will be available on Monday at 4 PM Japan Time.

The benchmark will allow you to switch between DirectX 9 and the new DirectX 11 engine, and will also let you create and save characters belonging to the new Au Ra race.

Once saved, you’ll be able to use these characters when the expansion launches on June 23rd. The benchmark will be available only for PC.
