Final Fantasy XIV New Expansion “Stormblood” Gets Gorgeous Trailer: Shows Samurai in Action and Kugane

Square Enix reveals the fantastic cinematic trailer of the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion "Stormblood."

During the Final Fantasy XIV FanFest keynote in Frankfurt, that DualShockers attended, Square Enix unveiled the full trailer of the new expansion, titled Stormblood.

The trailer showcases the newly announced city of Kugane, and a cinematic view on the new Samurai Job. We also get a glimpse on the extended world map, and on the undersea city where the Ananta beast tribe dwells.

Incidentally, you possibly already saw the part until the 2:06 mark, but after that, it’s all new and gorgeous footage.

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will release on June 20th exclusively for PC and PS4, with the PS3 version of the game getting discontinued. PS3 users are eligible to a free upgrade to the PS4 version, and you can find out how to get it here.
