The long maintenance for the implementation of update 3.2 “The Gears of Change” in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is coming close to an end, and Square Enix has now made the patch available for download on all platforms.

If you want to get ready for the reopening of the servers, which will happen in about 2.5 hours at 2 AM PST, you can get downloading right now. The PC patch weighs 1352.43 megabytes, while the PS4 patch will take 1555.18 megabytes of your bandwidth.

The patch brings a lot of new features including new dungeons, a new raid, an expansion to the story, easy mode for tanks (well, not really easy mode, I guess, but paladins get significantly buffed, and other tanks’ aggro gets buffed as well), a new PvP mode and a whole ton more. You can find the full patch notes here.

And yes, Hildibrand is coming back too. What’s not to love?
