During a livestreamed Active Time Report event from Tokyo, Final Fantasy XV Director Hajime Tabata disclosed the results of a survey performed between those who played the game at Gamescom, where an extensive demo from the beginning of the title was playable on the show floor.

At the end of the demo, players were prompted to input their feedback on a tablet, choosing between positive, neutral and negative options.

90% selected positive, 8% neutral, and only 2% selected negative.

Tabata-san mentioned that he was “honored” that so many enjoyed the game during the event.

Having tested the demo myself, I can definitely say that my finger went right to the smiling face, with absolutely no hesitation.
