Final Fantasy XV: Check Out What the Charming Cindy Is Actually Made of

At CEDEC 2016 in Japan, Square Enix hosted a panel on the assets system of Final Fantasy XV (livestreamed on Nico Nico) and showcased something rather interesting, in the form of the assets used to create Cindy.

In the images below, you can see her 3D model, her skeleton, and the textures that are then mapped on her model. Don’t blame me if you won’t ever be able to look at her in the same way once you see her actual skin.

If you are wondering how that stuff can turn in one of the sexiest characters of the upcoming numbered chapter of the Final Fantasy franchise, the trick is mostly made by lighting and shaders. If you want to see them in action, you can check them out here.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
