Square Enix appeared at Gamestop Expo 2016 to talk about their game Final Fantasy XV, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29.

Square Enix staff member Matthew Kishimoto explains how players will be able to endlessly craft their magic spells in the character menu. This works by taking an elemental spell and attaching an item to it to create a spell that will cast the magic as well as execute the item.

However, it’s explained that only one item can be used at a time with magic. So if you’re trying to stack a potion and a phoenix down to create some super awesome healing item, that just wont work.

During the presentation Matthew creates a fire spell that also heals the party and another fire spell the casts poison to the enemies.

Additionally, these crafted spells can be equipped to any party member to use during battle. The party members will be able to use the magic automatically.
