Today Square Enix released new gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XV's upcoming story DLC Episode Prompto.

The video showcases the tutorial of the DLC, which will have about two hours of story, plus optional missions, extra content after completion, and a time attack mode. It sees Prompto exploring the Imperial base where magitek soldiers are created, with the ability to grab new firearms from those he defeats.

From what we heard a few months ago, the episode will provide more insight on Prompto's character and motivation, and will be followed by another titled Episode Ignis, dedicated to everyone's favorite barbecue master, and Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades, which will bring co-op to the game in forms that are yet unknown.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One. Episode Prompto will release on June 27th for both platforms.
