Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and Xbox One: Director Aiming for Simultaneous Worldwide Release

on January 25, 2015 7:15 PM

The release date of Final Fantasy XV is still a rather big question mark, but according to Game Director Hajime Tabata, it should happen everywhere at the same time, as he mentioned in a video interview on the Mexican site Level Up.

Tabata-san explained that, regrettably, he cannot reveal a release date, but he thinks it should be worldwide, as the team wants everyone to experience the same Final Fantasy XV with the same timing.

It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Square Enix will manage to release the game at the same time in every region. They’re definitely keeping up with the worldwide releases with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, so it’s definitely possible.
