Ports have always been a staple of gaming, the most common being from a last-gen to a current-gen system or between a console and portable.

While porting over games from one console to another may seem simple, there are many hiccups and headaches to be encountered along the way due to differences in hardware, programming language and other such technicalities.

A recent developer's blog from the ones behind the porting of Bastion from Xbox 360 to PS Vita details the various issues the team encountered in the process, and how they still managed to get the game running at 60 FPS on a portable system.
