Fire Emblem Character Designer Shares Mysterious Trailer for Unannounced Game

on September 9, 2016 8:39 AM

Today something rather peculiar happened. Popular character designer Yosuke Kozaki shared a trailer for an unannounced game (apparently a JRPG) on his Twitter account. You can see it below.

Kozaki-san mentioned that he supervised the design for the game, that appears to be titled “Senku no Reconquista.” He previously worked on quite a few popular games, including Fire Emblem Awakening, Fire Emblem Fates, No More Heroes and Half-Minute Hero. He also designed the team leaders for Pokémon GO.

While the game has not been announced yet, a bit of research reveals its identity. The name “Senku no Reconquista” was trademarked back in May by popular messaging service provider and mobile game publisher LINE. This pretty much identify the title as a JRPG for smartphones.

Incidentally, the video also reveals the game’s writer as Yusuke Watanabe, who recently wrote the script of Dragon Quest of the Stars.

At the moment nothing else is known, but the trailer (which I reuploaded below, just to be sure) looks quite nice.
