Bookworms may find themselves interested in a little game called “Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward,” a title that is best described as a visual novel. If it sounds familiar, the game is a successor to 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for the Nintendo DS, although it is not a direct sequel. Unlike its predecessor, Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward is rendered in 3D, but will otherwise follow much of the same principles.
Now, for the first time ever, English screenshots have been released for the game. Although there isn’t much yet, it’s a step forward, and gamers who are interested in the series will be delighted to hear that it’s coming to North American shores sometime in late 2012 (I’m predicting Christmas, myself – any takers?).
Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward will be available for Nintendo 3DS and the PS Vita.
