Hori is known for releasing a variety of gaming peripherals, whether they're third party controllers, Fightsticks or the T.A.C 3 for your FPS needs. Recently they announced an accessory for Monster Hunter fans.

Similar to the 3DS Circle Pad Pro, the accessory dubbed "The Extended Slide Pad" adds an extra shoulder button to the right side of the 3DS or 3DS XL and a second circle pad to the left side for better camera control when playing any Monster Hunter game on the 3DS. Additionally, the ZL button has been moved underneath the grip on the left hand side.

The Extended Slide Pad will come in two versions, one for 3DS and another for the XL. Both will be available for 2,980 yen and will launch alongside  Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on October 11 in Japan.
