First Person Running and Jumping in Brink, IRL Compared in This Video

I didn’t really even know that advanced free running capabilities were a major element of the upcoming Brink, but evidently you can do some pretty unnecessarily cool stuff in that game. And to prove it, they’ve teamed up with some Parkour experts to create this video displaying how similar Brink‘s mechanics are to real-life Parkour. The result is the same as most Parkour videos: a bunch of gangly dudes jumping on stuff and making my legs feel tired. Like, seriously dude, just turn the corner. There’s really no need to jump off of it like that. I mean, I appreciate that you can do it in-game and everything, but come on.

Hit the jump for the video. Brink will be out in just a few days; on Tuesday, May 10th here in the States.
