Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia sent a press release this early morning that included a further sneak peek at the upcoming changes included in the 1.7 firmware update for the PS4.

The press release included quite a few screenshots, that you can see in the gallery below. Unfortunately they're in Japanese, but they're still a very good indication on how the new options will look.

The first two pictures showcase the new Nico Nico Live streaming feature, that will be added with the update (even if it's unclear if it'll be available in the west), the third gives us a glimpse on the ability to select HD streaming for Ustream, while the fifth shows the option to turn off  HDCP.

The last two screenshots showcase the newly implemented ability to use the PS Vita TV for remote play, which apparently wasn't yet available and will be included with a corresponding Vita update that will be released at the same time.

What's most interesting is that the press release mentions that the feature will enable the PS Vita TV to have two accounts connected at the same time to use remote play. It's yet unclear if the same will be extended to the portable PS Vita as well, but it'd definitely be nice.
