First Screenshots of New PS Vita Exclusive JRPG Ray Gigant Revealed by Dengeki PlayStation

Today’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation definitely brought a few treats for PS Vita fans, and after the reveal of Nihon Falcom’s Tokyo Xanadu, it also unveiled Ray Gigant, another PS Vita exclusive dungeon JRPG by Experience (Demon Gaze‘s developers) and published by Bandai Namco.

The game, scheduled for release this year in Japan, is set in the classic year 20XX, after the world has been devastated by a race of huge monsters named “Gigant.”

The screenshots, that you can see below (as usual, remember that they’re magazine scan, so the quality isn’t perfect), show typical dungeon crawling JRPG gameplay, and the fetching character design of five protagonists, Kazuya Tenpu, Mana Isano, Kazuomi Miwa, Nil Phineas and Gayle Griffin.

Considering that Bandai Namco has been very active in localizing its games lately, we might very well see this come to the west sooner or later, even if there are no news on that, just yet.
