Combining a rhythm game and, of course, Final Fantasy, SquareEnix looks to have devised an interesting concoction in the form of 3DS title Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. The game sees a familiar layout of Final Fantasy games past, where, during battle, your characters stood on one side of the 2D battlefield and your enemies stood on another. However, this time around there are notes to hit that come flying at you, much like in many other rhythm games we've seen in the past years. Add to that that this is only one of the scenarios you'll find yourself in. Another is - get this - the dance scene from FFVIII where Squall and Rinoa are all up in each other's grill. That's one of my favorite scenes from that game, and it seems to be replayed here in this title.
