After taking the Internet by storm last year, the Let's Play and YouTube horror-sensation Five Nights at Freddy's is seemingly coming to an end, thanks to a dark and foreboding teaser image that shows the saga of Freddy Fazbear and Co. will be concluding later this year.

In a new teaser image posted on the website of developer Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy's 4 has officially been revealed, with the menacing tagline of The Final Chapter indicating that this will be the final entry in the series, with a release date of October 31st, 2015 confirmed - just in time for Halloween.

The first title in the series, Five Nights at Freddy's, released on multiple platforms in August 2014 and quickly became a sensation across multiple gaming channels like Twitch and YouTube, with two other sequels having been released since the first title and a possible film adaptation in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter is set to release on October 31st, 2015.
