In a shocking turn of events, creator Dong Nguyen has taken to Twitter to announce he is pulling the highly successful and addictive Flappy Bird from app stores tomorrow.

While no reason was given, it should be noted that earlier this week Nguyen tweeted that the success of the game is overwhelming.

This doesn't spell in the end for Nguyen's day as a developer. According to his tweets, he will continue to create "simple" games.
