Yup... you read that headline correctly. The now infamous game Flappy Bird, whose creator pulled it from the App store in February, is set to make its return this summer. The game won't just be the original one re-released however as it will now have a multiplayer component.

For whatever reason, this game because huge and inspired a legion of clones. Its creator, Dong Nguyen, was at one point making more than $50,000 a day from sales of the game; that's how big it became. However, Nguyen decided to pull the game from the Apple App store because it became an "addictive product." The game also received a lot of criticism due to the fact that the pipes in it bore a striking similarity to those found in the early Super Mario Bros games.

You'll be able to download Flappy Bird from the App store this August. No solid date on that other than the month but when we get more news on that and what the multiplayer will entail, we'll let you guys know.
