Today, publisher Sega and developer Sports Interactive announced that their highly-popular and annual series Football Manager is poised to return on Friday, November 10, 2017 with Football Manager 2018.

As of right now, beyond a release date and its mere existence, not much else has been divulged on the series' latest entry. However, Sports Interactive has said it'll reveal gameplay details sometime in late September.

What Sega and Sports Interactive did reveal though is that for the first time, all three versions of the game -- Football Manager 2018 for PC, Mac, and Linux, Football Manager Touch 2018 for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android, and Football Manager Mobile 2018 for iOS and Android will be released simultaneously,

Further, if you pre-purchase the title you will be able to play two weeks beforehand courtesy of a beta version (with single-player careers carrying across the beta into the full game). If you purchase the game before October 9th whilst having Football Manager 2017 in your Steam Library, you will receive a discount of 25 percent off.

For those that don't know: the series first surfaced in 1992 as Championship Manager, but after Sports Interactive departed ways with publisher Eidos Interactive, they lost the naming rights and had to re-brand the series Football Manager in 2004 with their new publishers Sega.
