For Old School Pokémon Fans Come Two New Nendoroid Figurines of Trainers Red and Blue

The Pokémon news just keeps doling in for the 20th anniversary. The latest is a new Nendoroid figurine set featuring the popular protagonist Red and his rival Blue from the first generation Pokémon titles.

The set will be priced at 7500 yen and comes with the aforementioned two, as well as Mew. Each trainer comes with two face parts, two feet parts, with Blue having six different arm parts to Red’s five. Mew also has multiple parts to switch around. Some extra accessories include Pokeballs and a backpack.

Expected release is July 9th, but those interested can pre-order starting on February 27th. It will be available at Japanese Pokemon Centers and Amazon Japan.

In other exciting news, there have been hints at a new premium Red figurine, along with brand new artwork for the character. This will be the beginning of the Pocket Monsters series figures according to Kotobukiya . Check out the gallery below to see the Nendoroid set and new artwork.
